Old Friends

I met Hubert Sumlin in the mid seventies in Austin at the first Antone’s location on Sixth and Brazos, and when we met again in 2009 he remembered me!  In 1977 I asked Hubert if he would give me a guitar lesson...he thought for a minute and said “Well when I was playing with Wolf, the first thing I did when we went into a joint was to locate the back door”...Lesson #1.
